The Axsy Config UI provides guidance on the best way to configure your settings for optimal syncing performance in the app. Warning messages will be displayed both beneath the affected field, and at the top of the scope or version window so that you can clearly identify all the recommended changes.

The examples listed below are not exhaustive, and more warnings will be added in due course.

Example Warnings

1.  The New Visit Sync Delay field, located at Global > Visits, has a recommended maximum limit of 300 seconds (or 5 minutes). A value higher than 300 is only necessary when you know that creating a visit requires a large amount of Retail Visit KPIs to be created on the Salesforce Platform. If this isn't the case, set a lower number to avoid unnecessary sync delays for a new visit.

2.  The How often to check for updates in Salesforce (minutes)? field, located at Sync > Record Sets > Visits > Query Parameters, has a recommended maximum limit of 60 minutes. If the field is set at a higher number, you risk working with data that is out of date.

3.  The Recent Visits Limit field, located at Sync > Record Sets > Visits > Query Parameters, has a recommended maximum limit of 10. Visits can have a large volume of related records associated with them. Reducing this parameter means significantly reducing the duration of the initial sync time.

4.  The Next Days and Previous Days fields, located at Sync > Record Sets > Visits > Query Parameters, have a recommended maximum range limit of 3 weeks. Anything more than this increases the likelihood of delays during the initial sync due to a higher volume of records.

Overview Warnings

When you save your changes for the scope you are working on, a warning icon will be displayed at the top of the window with a list of warnings for fields if they haven't already been changed.

You can still save your changes, however, the warning icon will remain there. If you publish your changes, the warnings will also be displayed at version level.
